Serves 1
Ingredients
200g chopped tomatoes 1 clove garlic (finely chopped) 1/5 onion (finely chopped) balsamic vinegar (2tbsp) dried oregano and crushed chillies (as much as you want) salt ground pepper 5 meatballs 100grams spaghetti 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil 1tbsp tomato puree
Method
Add extra virgin olive oil to pan for 1 minute (low heat) Fry onions for 2 mins add garlic and fry 20 secs add chopped tomatoes (low heat) get your wooden spoon and squeeze tomatoes after 1 minute put lid on and make sure its on lowest heat for 20mins
Brown your meatballs for 10mins and then drain off all the fat
Put 2 tbsp tomato puree into pasta sauce along with salt and as much ground pepper as you like
add meatballs
put lid on the sauce and make sure heat is low
Add spaghetti to boiling water and cook for 5mins
drain spaghetti
add spaghetti to meatballs and sauce and put lid on for 1 mins
take lid off and add as much dried oregano and crushed chillies
put onto plate and add as much extra virgin olive oil as you like
Enjoy
This costs around £1 to prepare
